I thought Gatlin is now being coached by Brooks Johnson (not Seagrave)?
in an interview from yesterday he stated that dennis mitchell was now coaching him

Gatlin was running 10.2 with Seagrave. I saw Seagrave speak at a Toronto conference a couple of years back. Didn’t sound like Gatlin and him saw eye to eye on too many things even when they were still working together.
That is correct. Dennis Mitchell is now coaching Gatlin.

But philosophy can be shared as I now coach the same mechanics to my guys after speaking with Seagrave last year n the reviewing video data with my athletes
Jimson and I visited coaches and athletes at the Clermont and ESPN tracks several weeks ago. Brooks mentioned in one of the discussions that Gatlin had used as many as five techniques in previous races. why did gatlin change from brooks to mitchell so quick? i see hes wearing adidas also…
Both gatlin and the gay camp are training in clermont. I wonder if they get together for some super fast practices.
They don’t, unfortunately. Lance and Dennis have their groups on opposite sides of the track, nothing is combined. But I’m pretty sure Gay would hurt Gatlins ego anyway

Yeah… I noticed that too. I wonder when he switched from NIKE,and why?
I found out from a jam hurdler that asafa jumped off the plane in Doha the day of the meet.

He jumped off the plane and ran. Unlike most who get there a day or two before to run. Just like driving a few hours to a meet and running when u get out the car.
leroy burrell did that in 1995 and ran 9.85WR so i wouldnt call it a bad thing. these guys dont fly economy either!!
Well it wasn’t to bad for asafa as he still ran his fastest opening 100 ever. I think with a day to relax he would have beatin gatlin…maybe
