hey cf in the forum review on the plyo progression charts on the bottom of the page you have the strength setup in phase 1 the AA phase is longer and u have 2 max strength phase but in phase 2 and 3 the AA phase < in time, im wondering why do you perform AA work in phases 2 and 3 and when do you perform phases 2 and 3??

The AA may or may not be done in phase two and likely not in phase three for higher level athletes and any AA phase then would be very short- max two weeks. If you refer to the max strength phases in Vanc 2004, you’ll see that the relative length of these phases and the percentage of change decreases phase by phase. Possible Example:
Ph1= 6%, Ph2= 3%, Ph3= 1%.

ok sounds good, so phase 1 would be indoors, phase 2 beginning of outdoors and phase 3 late outdoors or would phase 1 be fall workouts sept-dec, phase 2 indoors, and phase 3 outdoors?

so phase 2 would be indoors and phase 3 would be late outdoors? what bout during the fall sept-dec i know most world class guys dont get going till late sept or oct.

That’s phase one- the longest phase with the longest GPP.
