For Decathlete, Gold Medal Has Little Payoff

For Bryan Clay, a gold medal winner in Beijing in 2008 and once deemed the world?s greatest athlete, it?s difficult not to feel slighted by a life of near anonymity.

that is kind of unfortunate, I remember reading where american Paul Terek who has made the olympic team in the deca has made significantly more money entering a few of the Ninja Warrior game shows in Japan than any money he has made in track

Wow! Thats very unfortunate cause I remember training with Paul and another decathlete (who’s name I cant remember) at Michigan State but he was so excited about making the olympic team and we were talking about what he could possibly do after going to the olympics.
