Reigning African fastest man, Olusoji Fasuba, may have served a quite notice to the Athletics Federation of Nigeria, expressing that the Algiers 9th All Africa Games may be his last appearance in the national colours.

Fasuba was said to have taken the decision following the criticism he received after he shunned celebrating his victory with the national flag.

The foreign-based had expressed that the athletics authorities did not contribute to his successes and therefore would henceforth stop representing the Federation and the country in the subsequent meets.

The sprinter, who claimed that the poor treatment meted out to him while in the country compelled him to join the foreign legion, also dropped that the feat he performed was on his personal efforts, expressing that nothing came from neither the AFN nor the National Sports Commission.

Many athletes had in the past condemned the style of sports administration in Nigeria and some have even changed citizenship to compete for other countries.
