Alright, I need to get soem critiquing etc to my training. Right now I am getting my strength back and packing on some size in quality lean muscle mass. The college coach told me I could actually get faster if I packed on around 10-15 lbs of muscle, as long as it’s functional. I have been doing that so far, going from 141 june 6th, to 153 as of today. Right now I am just living in the weight room lifting as much as I can, I won’t start back up running until August, then I think I start college practice in october. The guy who owns the place I lift at has gotten me to finally squat right also, it sucks, but it’s worth it.
right now I do upperbody twice a week and and lowerbody twice a week, here are my lift selections
Upperbody Day:
Bench Press
Close-Grip Pull Ups
Incline Press
Seated Rows
DB Bench or Military Press
Lat Pulldowns
Lowerbody Day:
Power Clean
Parallel Squat
Glute-Ham Raise
Leg Press
Reverse-Hypers
I do a max effort day one day where I start out at 10 reps and finish off with a set of 4 reps the other day is a repetition day.
I do some 40 yd sprints sparingly to test my acceleration and so far I have clocked a 4.49, and I haven’t ran sicne the state meet (june 4),this makes me happy cause I know the muscle gain is not slowing me down.

It sucked, I only had 4 oppertunities to run in meets with Auto timing…bleh
right now my goals are modest for my 3 main lifts
Bench Press-200 (i previously tested at 215 in march)
Power Clean-175 (previous tested at 185 in march)
Parallel Squat-275 PARALLEL (340 in march, probably wasn’t parallel though)
Id like to get these before i leave for college (august 17) which I can firmly believe i can.
