Anyone have experience working with an athlete experiencing this? What types of things should be done and should be avoided?
You could have them get surgery on both legs and have the legs still fill up with fluid afterward then increase their volume 2x and watch them get stress fractures (ahhh that feels better).
Anyway, first of all I would tend to aim towards Charlie’s L to S workouts. If they can only survive a couple runs before their legs lock up, just do a couple runs (2x250). I know ART claims that work on the deep compartments of the lower leg can help with this but I have taken the training and failed to elicit much of an effect on this frustrating problem.

No, one of our girls had it in both legs and got surgery in both legs a year or so ago. It’s better but still not completely resolved.
The girl I spoke with had Sx a few weeks ago. On Crutches for a bit.
