Many wrestlers training almost constantly in a lactic/anaerobic enviroment. I am speaking now specifically to the heavier weight wrestlers 215 and HWT weight classes. On the longer runs “road runs” they are surely near the AT because they have so much more mass and also because many have a much lower AT. Having no control of the actual taxonmy of wrestling practice what can be done to develop the oxidative capacity as well as the aerobic/alactic qualities as they are all present in a 7 minute collegiate match or 6 minute high school match.
