charlie has said to be an elite you need to be full time athlete…
for the elite how many hours a week or a day are they working on their craft?
I’ll say 25-30 hrs a week…
That’s counting working w/ physio’s, body work and other track related issues.

If it’s during the fall that could be even higher due to double and triple sessions. Then all of the video reviews (what athlete doesn’t like watching themselves in action) and this could be 20 hours more. How about you full timers out there?
I’d like to know how many hours their coaches spend working …
wake up to when I fall asleep-save a few fiestas and cups of joe.
I was waiting for your answer Clemson!!!
Right now I email 50 times a day to help build sponsorship for one athlete. I am 25,000 dollars short in my opinion we need to get a spot on the olympic team. I will find a way. Now that I have the summer off from work (I have only early morning training session at 6) I am behind a computer all day and on the phone raising money. Thank god for the cool tan shirts…I got to get rays for the ladies.
