Duck Walks

How about duckwalks the way wrestlers perform them. Where you drag the trailing leg through, like a wrestling shot. It’s Less of a waddle and hasn’t bothered my knees at all (traditional duck walks really irritated them)

the acl is actually under more stress when the knee is at 90 degrees (e.g. parallel squat) than in a full squat. That’s why the lachman’s drawer acl test is done with the knee at 90 degrees of flexion…

The knee is at far more risk at a deep bend if any internal movement is done. Balance of light deep squats during the gpp may help reduce the aches of post acl repaired athletes.

Clemson, What you state makes sense. But are there any links to studies or papers highlighting the risks of using the duck walk as an exercise? I am not an expert and any resources will be helpful to convince some friends of mine that this is a potentially damaging exercise.
