The weather was terrible-

Rain and the temp dropped quick.

A variety of athletes had trouble with the 200m under the conditions-

made one think as to what the best spike to wear for those kind of conditions

the adidas has an opening on both sides, hence allowing more water to enter. Not good for curves.

I agree with Tom, since I participated in both the 100 and 200. The adidas sprint star is for dry conditions only. I found out the hard way.

What is the difference between wet and dry spikes?
