Did she have a “B” qualifier prior to nationals? Apparently one is required before the selectors will even consider the athlete. The incentive criteria in the selection process needs to be reviewed without a doubt - AA need to balance the (hypothetical) cash flows that are purported to arise from elites competing domestically and the ability for those same athletes to be competitive internationally, which will raise the profile of the sport. Unfortunately the current format allows for neither.
