Wassup, I am creating this journal to track my progress. I am 14 years old and I am training for the upcoming football season in August. I might run some summer track meets, too.
Today, I did some butt flicks and some high knees for warmup here is what I did for my workout.
3x10 tuck jumps
100 calf raises
3x12 leg extentions
3x12 leg curls
I am going to do time trials in the 40 yard dash and if I feel like it the 100 meters later this week. Until my next post see ya later.
Here was my workout yesterday(had to lift a little light because I broke my arm a few weeks back).
3x12 bench press
3x12 bicep curls
and I used my ab wheel
Today my dad timed me in my first open 100 meter dash, and all I have to say is MAN 100 METERS IS LONG. I ran a dissapointing 12.45 seconds but it was on a bumpy track with rocks on it and I didn’t have any blocks or spikes to use. Also there was wind blowing against me. My dad said I hesitated at the start, and I started to slow down around 90 meters . I hesitated because I didn’t think I could run all out that long(which I couldn’t) and I slowed down because I got tired. I guess I have a lot of work to do before football season. Also when I ran I got a cramp in my stomach does anybody know what that means?
Wattup, haven’t posted in a while but here is what I did last week.
Thursday.
2x100 meter sprints (ran a 12.40 on the same track as last time and I still slowed down a lot at the end.)

3x12 leg exstentions
3x12 leg curls
100 calf raises
3x30 secs high knees
3x30sec butt flicks
My abs and arms felt kind of soar so I didn’t do another upper body workout last week.
Felt good this training session, here is what I did:

3x40 yard sprints
3x10 tuck jumps
3x10 rim jumps
3x10 side lateral hops
100 calf raises
3x12 leg extentions
3x12 leg curls
3x12 bench press
3x12 biceps curls
and I used my ab wheel
Yesterday my muscles felt kind of tight, I don’t know why. Here is what I did:
3x30 sec high knees
3x30secs butt flicks
3x40 yard sprints
3x10 tuck jumps
3x15 rim jumps
3x10 side lateral hops
100 calf raises
3x12 leg extentions
3x12 leg curls
I decided to split the upper body workouts and the lower body workouts because they are shorter that way. Also I ran a few passing routes. So until next time SEE YA!!
My plan is to get faster and stronger for my first year of high school football although I am already pretty fast, and to be the starting Running back. This is the first time having a routine like this so I’m just trying to work on basic strength and speed.
I did the same old thing, and I don’t know what a gpp is.

Did a time trial in the 40 yard dash and my time was 4.77 on grass with cleats, and until next time THAT’S ALL FOLKS!!!
