I also like to race cyclo-cross in the winter/off season from cycling. I was wondering if anyone would have some input on run training for this type of event. Cyclo-cross consists of multi lap races of grassy and paved areas such as parks of fields that include dismounting off the bike at speed and sprinting over one or two barriers that are up to 40 cm high remounting the bike on the move. Run distances vary from maybe 5 meters to 50 meters. Any thoughts as to how to include some running for this? The overall event lasts 1 hr and would normally include 1 or two dismounts a lap for a total of about 10-15 sections of runs.
