I’ll second what Brad has said.
In fact, Charlie had a great influence on us both during the same seminar down here in NC. His influence on many aspects even outside of training will be long lasting.
I had the opportunity to meet Charlie twice, speak with him via phone and of course have him answer my questions many times on the site. Each time I was floored at his complete understanding upon how to to achieve the best results no matter the history or current status of the individual.
I will always appreciate his sense of humor and his logical/no nonsense approach to virtually everything and above all else his care and concern for the athletes he worked with. He was also intent upon truly helping, empowering coaches to do their very best for the athletes they trained.
Charlie’s work and principles will continue to live through both the athletes he has trained, the coaches he has influenced (and there are many-a number of which are at the world class level) and their athletes.
I’d like to give my best wishes to Ange and James.
