Hi guys just having a monthly look over my Amazon Wish List …
These are some of the books I have on it.
I’d love a few comments or reviews on these if any of you have read any of these …
Strength and Power in Sport
(Encyclopaedia of Sports Medicine) - Ioc Medical Commission; Hardcover
Designing Resistance Training Programs
Steven J. Fleck; Hardcover
The Endocrine System in Sports and Exercise
(The Encyclopaedia of Sports Medicine) - William J. Kraemer; Hardcover
Rehabilitation of Sports Injuries : Scientific Basis
(Encyclopaedia of Sports Medicine) - Walter R. Frontera; Hardcover
Phosphatidylserine
Paris M. Kidd; Paperback
Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning
(Soviet Medical Reviews: Section C - Hematology Reviews) - Thomas R. Baechle
Thanks in advance
Read 1 and 6. There are several editions of 1 with slightly different content. They are interesting but quite in depth. It is also an expensive book.
6 is the standard NSCA text. It gives a good general overview but is pretty basic and it won’t tell you anything you don’t already know.
Essentially, they are both intersting but are they worth £70 between them?

I am currently reading Fleck and Kraemer’s Designing Resistance Training programs, and till now I learned couple of new stuff… I think it is worth reading!!
Great book, but not for coaches (in my opinion).Very technical ,but what come out is quite often a necessity of further investigations on the human body
I sometime read the great chapters, but to tell you the truth i haven’t use much this book for my training.
As someone was pointing out,is expensive also.
If your knowledge is low, then you might take a look at this. But,this is not the case,so i don’t think it would be useful to you.
