Chlorella?

It seems to me that Chlorella is good stuff, but is it something that is worthwhile for an athlete to take, more specifically a sprinter? I think it might help with recovery/regeneration, as well as other things maybe. It seems like a good thing to take anyway, even if it doesn’t have any direct benefits to an athlete.

Hi, this is my first post…

Chlorella is a chelant agent, but oral chelation is a waste of time.
Only IV chelation is effective.

IMO, a good way for body detossification is an integration for metilation process (Betaine HCL, B12, SamE), liver (Milk Thistle, glutathione, NAC, vit C) and more water (water ionizer is a good stuff).

I wasn’t too sure…anything that is promoted as a “wonder food” or “miracle” is suspicious… There hasn’t been any discussion at any websites. The Chlorella Growth Factor is what interested me for the healing and growth/repair:
“…for damaged tissue to increase its healing rate.”
“It also strengthens our body’s ability to recover quickly from strenuous exercise and even disease. The CGF is central to Chlorella’s amazing ability to heal the human body and is what makes chlorella one of the most powerful whole foods in existence.”

If taking it orally doesn’t work, then so much for that. Oh well, there are other ways.

IMO, a good integration of basic nutrient after workout is the best way for muscle regeneration.
