saw a question to Charlie some time ago if he would consider coming over here (UK) for a conference; Charlie replied positively, if i recall it correctly, provided it was arranged by people in the UK (and other countries across Europe perhaps)
so, would this be possible? i guess many UK/European members would be very interested in something like that, to say the least, but how feasible is it?

i think the first step is to see how many people are interested and then see what we can do about it!

There is a very sizable UK following here on the Forum and there are also many others from France, Italy and other European Countries who would be more than willing to travel.
Of course with RyanAir offering crazy cheap flights to Dublin - I would have to say Dublin is again the best option
Seriously though I think it’s a great idea - weather, venue and location would have to be priority and organised though.

I’m sure I could organise a date for you to lecture at my local university (in South London) I know the head of sport science quite well. They have modern lecture theatres. And probably accommodation as well. If you’re interested perhaps i could arrange something that would fit into your diary. Obviously your fee would be paid in advance and all expenses/flight paid. I’ll speak to the head of sport in January (Uni is closing this week for recess) if thats ok
although i’m irish i would think italy would be ideal.great location great weather and also great to have an italian girlfriend i’m planning on being there in march late april for 4weeks.
