Charlie Francis Podcasts

I was wondering if anyone would actually enjoy the idea of Charlie putting out a podcast. Rupert, have you guys considered this?? it could become by far one of the most popular podcasts in track and field, and the cool thing about it is that Charlie could address questions that are very popular or that he wishes to that are mentioned on the forum or emailed in.

Might be a really awesome idea, what do you all think??

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know of anyone else in Track and Field doing this?

As far as I know there are afew people, among them Coach Winston Brown from the Fort Union Military Academy, Doug Van Zee and Rob Stanton, Bob Duckworth (with pole vault) and a few sites with various people like Runnova Video by Andrew Blaich, etc…

Could be a quick “Question of the day”…Have a recording session to record several bits, then post them. Training audio programs are in demand, just hard to do since alot of training is/can be visual. A few coaches have tried with CD/audio downloads of the Months (about hour long), but they have not lasted long…usually too much work to do interviews.

exactly, for example the most discussed subject of the week on CF.com could be the theme for a podcast, maybe Charlie decides to relax one week and publishes for example, hmm his favourite movie or a meal that he enjoyed, or anything of any of the hundred minutae that all come together in sprinting and going fast on a track, and maybe even of it.

that would be awesome!
