Carl Lewis sprint advice.

Dont bother stretching??? He stretches 4 hours before he ever runs, of course he bothers stretching

i also think he was just talented. Stretching is sooooo important or you will get problems(for example with your back…).

No weights? Never seen the vid “Break it up”!!!

He self-stretched for 4 hours a day? I find that very hard to believe unless we are considering massage and other recovery methods “stretching”.

ya, i dont think 4 hours of just plain boring static stretching, it had to be massages, hot tubs, etc. but if he did, he would have to have someone stretching him

I am interested in his regeneration program as it seemed as-if they weren’t super popular in the US at the time.

i got this from this trainer that i go to. this guy is amazing, he is like a chiropractor too. he pops my back into alignment to where my body will be able to run fast. this guy has done the same thing to michael johnson, deion sanders, T.O.(reason why he played in the Super bowl), The whole atlanta falcons team since their superbowl loss, and thats all i can think of for now.

Now this guy is totally unique so dont expect to find some other guy like this and im not joking.

It sounds to me this is the type of advice Carl would give a 10 year old. Think about it, a little kid comes up to you and asks you, “gee Mr. Lewis, how did you get so fast?” Well…blah blah blahblah blah blah. Lol, give me a break, do you really think an elite athlete would give away training advice that you could actually benefit from?

Besides legal aspects, they would lose the edge that they have worked hard and long to develop. I would never take anyones advice that would not take mine…lol. I hope you guys get the point.
