the standard conversion is .24 if you have a “good” handtime, but usually it’s closer to .3-.6 added onto any handtime.
you can’t directly translate cause the differential can vary widely. It should be .24 slower for elec. but if the hand timer misses the gun flash at the start, the difference could be much larger

And depending on that you should add .24, give or take a few?
Yup. You add .24 to convert to elec if you caught the flash and didn’t anticipate the tape by too much
If its any help to anyone hand timing, I was taught by a AAA’s Grade 1 Timekeeper to allow the back foot to cross the finish line before stopping the watch. I tend to get very close to electronic timing with this approach.
