Of course it is absolutely typical that the Canadian press will go after the kid BEFORE he’s done, heaping on the pressure, hoping to create news like they did at the Athens Olympics with Perdita. Why is no-one keeping these assholes away till AFTER the competition?
(What am I asking for? I already know the answer- the officials are just as ignorant of proper competition preparation as the press.)

Though im concerned he went out too hard in the 1st two rounds… but i guess we’ll know in a few minutes.
