bobsledders in the olympics

I’ m curious if any one knows if there are current or former bobsledders competing in the olympics track and field.
I imagine Gattuso of monaco is there, Riedel who had some stints in bobsled…but I know no one else this year…any of my bobsled friends have this info?
tnx Eros

Timoty Beck will compete in the 4x 100m for the Netherlands, he is a former Bobsledder

tnx a lot for the info…tomorrow the track starts!!

from eurosport italiuan commentators I learned, and later find out by myself, that also Mateus Inocencio, the big brazilian guy in the High Hurdles finals, competed in bobsled…

Bobteam GB has a long history of track and field chamionship stars taking to the sport of Bobsled:

Lenny Paul was a 60m and 100 m sprinter for GB athletics and won European Bobsled bronze and competed at 3 Winter games.

Courtney Rumbolt was a 4 x 100 m relay sprinter and a european 60 m finalist who won in 1998 an Olympic Bronze in the 4 man Bobsled.

Marcus Adam was a 200 m Commonwealth Gold medalist who went to the 2002 Salt lake games.

Allyn Condon was a silver medal winner in the 4 x 100 and an indoor champion who is now on the GB team.

True…also regis competed in europa cup…whit that kind of ohysique and dedition…could have become dominant pusher…
Big bobber, if you have msn we can exchange training views and bobsled memories:)

Hmmm…Regis did compete in the europa cup…but after one crash and a few scratches he never came back?

Linford did come and have a go in 1998 at British team ice push selections in Norway…he went on about how he would break the British record and even brought the BBC to film it…lol

He didnt even break the womens record and only went down twice and stormed off under a hale of snowballs and laughter…lol

I have PM’d you wiv my msn

Yes…pushing is so peculiar…both would have needed a few months…but would have been great

I think that the best pusher would be a hybrid of a OL and a fast starting sprinter like Johnson…what do you think?

eheh we can mmix things up…for OL…don’t know…I’d pick a "running " athlete always over any lifter…also OLifters tend to be too developedin quads than in hams…
A perfect push athelte?Chicago bears LInebacker Brian Urlacher!
