Biotest's "Spike"

Anything more, specifically, did you like about it? Would you want it stronger or the same?

Many have an initial reaction to shy away from caffeine but it really does make the effects from everything else better.

[QUOTE=RandyG][QUOTE=Clemson]

I currently take a ALCAR/Tyrosine/ Vinpocetine with an adaptogen ( with a trace amount of caffeine ) and I am doing great with my training.

What I feel is like whatever I have for the day is maximized…not hash stimulation like hydroxycut or similar product. Just clean burning nerves. Randy and Frit17, what do you think?

I find the above combinations to work amazing. It’s the very subtle, but the impact is incredible. Like you said “clean burning nerves”. The focus is great with no ill effects. I had this big guy at my gym try it (after I explained that it was going jack up his lifts :o ) and he felt the same way, tremendous focus without any problems.

Great stuff Clemson!!! I’m eagerly waiting for more

Yup i ditto what randy said. great stuff and am looking forward to obtaining more!!

lol so has anyone tried biotest’s spike? or does everyone do their own thing now…

I’ve tried it. Not great. Not bad.

I’ve tried it, and I still use it. Better than caffeine, no jitters, provides a real strength and mood boost. I had issues with CNS fatigue when I took it on off days as well, though.

[QUOTE=Clemson]Adaptogens are compounds that deal with fatigue symptoms and helping the body “rewire” it’s own natural recovery abilities. The problems with much of the research is that no clear mechanisms are present and one product that isn’t bad (very expensive) is the firstendurance.com product optygen. I have been on one product that is currently in Beta mode and feel great. I don’t have more “energy” per say but less sluggishness.

What do you mean by Beta mode?

The CNS fatigue roundtable in Europe last year hinted to supplementation and I have the CD from Hakken Anderson and one particular expert who shall be nameless swears by them. I find that extracts are a bit hard to swallow (no pun intended) but many nootropics help prime the brain for training.

Who is Hakken Anderson? (Please forgive my ignorance) And what do you mean by “swears by them”? Swears by what and what extracts are you talking about?

I currently take a ALCAR/Tyrosine/ Vinpocetine with an adaptogen ( with a trace amount of caffeine ) and I am doing great with my training.

What kind of amounts of these supplements above are you taking if you don’t mind me asking?

Thank you for your patience and efforts regarding this matter.

How vital do you think these supplements are to our training? Won’t the standard protein/multi vit etc cut it?

Please read the forum review for Charlie’s suggestions Oni…the stuff is great! I follow a VERTICAL INTEGRATION in every aspect of my life. Vertical integration can be applied for nutrition as well.

RE: Hakken Anderson - is a expert on speed and power events and he had an elite round table on CNS fatigue.

Is this on the web somewhere in cyberspace???

I agree that vertical integration is great for life in general!

The round table was in private and the CD is all mine!

Who else was in the discussion?

With Guys like Henk and Viru, it was star studded…like Sin City!

I see you possess great treasures Master Clemson  …maybe we can find some sort of way to persuade you to…how shoud I say…“share it”

Next time you come down to Championship City I will share the secret library. Far more extensive the Kebba’s…just not as much Xeroxing.

“Championship City”…I like that :stuck_out_tongue: . Yes Kebba’s library is one of great volume (and YES a s*%t load of xeroxing!) “The Secret Library” I’ve only read about such a place, thought it was a mere folk story. And to learn you know of it’s where abouts brings me great joy…LOL. Okay enough of the super hero talk :stuck_out_tongue: . If yours is more extensive than Keb’s, then I think I may need more than one weekend  . By the way when is your state meet?

Sorry folks for temporarily steeling the thread!

The first week of June is the MIAA champs. The libary has video cameras, multiple code entry doors, and my black key.

It contains about $60,000 of information.

Customnutritionwarehouse.com has cheap salbutiamine powder now, I guess still no one is sure on whether its banned or not so be careful.

CNW is not bad…no frills and very lean company structure. Their prices are great since they don’t do any external marketing. I have used their CEE and no excessive cell vol…

im scared of drug testing…i might stick to powerdrive and caffine

MIAA Champs??? Sorry about my lack of abbreviation knowledge.

Okay, I can deal with the video cameras, multiple code entry doors (with or without an eye scan) BUT the exclusive ‘black key’ I was sooo close. :stuck_out_tongue:
