Wondering which colleges out there - in the USA - have the best track programs, specifically I want to know about sprints and hurdles.
Also, does anyone know anything about how any of the following schools trains their sprinters/hurdlers and their success rates in recent years? I’d really appreciate any info.
Stanford
Berkeley
USC
Duke
Claremont McKenna (D3)
UCLA
Arkansas and LSU are at the tops for the short sprints in my book (although LSU’s long sprints did take the record ;)). FL has some good hurdlers and sprinters in general. FSU is going to be dominant in the sprints this year. UNC-CH has had it’s moments. USCarolina is great.
As far as academics (which it seems you’re looking at), the only others I really see are UNC-CH and USCarolina (if you are looking for business, it is essentially only behind Wharton for undergrad business overall). UVA has a decent program based on results, although I do not know as much about their training.
