Holy god. That was almost an awesome start (semi’s) but a horrible stumble! No way you’re going to recover from that and run 10.2 into a headwind.

Yeah, that stumble was terrible. What time do people think ben could have run in 92? I must get out dartfish and do a little analysis of that clip sometime.

i remember watching all the 100 prelims live on bbc tv.to this day i can never forget the sheer joy the broadcaster had when ben didn’t qualify for the final and also the “brand names” they used on him.total ignorance! all in all it was very exciting seeing BJ there because in 92 he was really a total outsider,an unknown quatity but people never forgot how fast he ran in 88 and a “maybe” was still in peoples mind in regard sto how fast he can go!!!
i still think ben was 10flat in 92 but no faster.
