basketball suicide drill...

Isn’t one of the purposes of the suicide to teach you to start and stop well both off your strong and your weak leg.As a matter of fact our coaches told us to do so for our own sakes, imagine learning stopping and starting off one foot your whole career. Not good except when it’s testing time.
One small tip from me would be to start getting low about 3m before each line. The most important thing about this kind of agility is keeping your center of gravity low.I’ve noticed that guys with shorter legs tend to do good in this exercise.
One way to condition yourself for the suicide would be doing the following drills 2-3 times a week:
five-and-a-halfs(sprint baseline to baseline 5 times,6th. rep only to half court)
suicides and reverse suicides
60s sideline drill(sideline to sideline for 60s, count reps)
Use a stopwatch each time.Use about a minute to recover, more only if you have to.

Just tell your coach that suicides have no place in a serious basketball program. You would be better off doing 10,20,30 meter sprints with good rest in between. And tons of agility work.

RFI work helps a lot
