He definitely didn’t look like he has in previous races. His transition to top speed didn’t look good, and his top speed wasn’t there either. It’s been a busy season for him since he returned after his injury though, and 9.87 is nothing to sneeze at.

Also - how long has he had those shoes?

Apparently it was quite cold there, so maybe he wasn’t really slower than his previous meets.

He looked tired and drained. How many sub 10 performances since Beijing?! It seems as though he’s run more sub 10’s these last few weeks than British guys have run under 10.20 all season.
