I’ll be 16 in 2 months, and Ive always heard that you cant really supplement much till your 16. So what should I get and avoid at this point?
I used supplements from 14. I’m 6ft3, so stunted growth is just scare mongering.
You won’t need anything apart from whey protein and ZMA.
Assuming money is limited at your age, don’t buy in to creatine, glutamine and anything else on market.
Well, Ive got a job so money wouldnt be too much of an issue. Ive been taking the protein shakes, the multi’s, and have been trying to eat right the best I can since I was 14. I just need advice of what to buy and what not to buy.
I’d drop most of your money on vitamins. Vit A, B, C, E, zinc, Cal & mag is a starting point. Protein powder isn’t gonna do much but you can test it out if you want.
supplementation should not be based on biological age it should be based on physiological need.
