CF i remember you using alot of 60m sessions and just an occasional SE/SE1 session and it seem to work extremely well. I’m wondering would 60m sprints at 100% stress a hamstring that may not be quite 100% as much as longer SE/SE1 will.
I’d think that it would.
I would think, 250’s -280’s or 300’s kind of distance’s would be the go for that very reason?
Yuck, i hate those training distances and i need to get my acc and top speed sharp again. I got ur message about the right to left but my tempo work will take care of the fitness and fitness it not the problem at this time.
Well, Hard explosive med ball throws would be the go for Acc work, at the same time minimizing strain on the hammie.
Are you talking about reg med throws and med acc drills?
eg
Squat throw n chase
double squat throw n chase
triple squat throw n chase
squat throw onto jump mat
roll back onto shoulders - squat throw into push up then chase
roll back onto shoulder - squat throw n chase
i wish i could do the drills that are highlighted but they kill my wrist and shoulders. i just need to get back to some fast 30 and 60’s.
