4x100 Mens Final - Video.

Well when we have third world nations and nations with less ppl then us winning more medals. YOU WOULD THINK someone would clue in. I think the part in speed trap whatn gerard mach says in Poland you’d find 100’s of tracks or w/e sums it up. A former soviet bloc country under the ironcurtian that is probably a 2nd world nation now i’d guess? Is kicking the crap out a supposed first world country that we know has money to burn on athletics it just choices to waste it on administration. Like for god sakes more coachs or roughly the same amount as the athletes went to athens!. It would seem the easiest way to make the olympic team is to become a fricking coach! or a manager or something.

That is exactly my plan!

lol. Great plan but still. What bugs me the most is when I see alot of elite athletes or near to elite withg reat potential giveup the sport because they can’t keep trying anymore, life is becoming to expensive. I mean there ar efortunate ones that get good enough to get contracts and funding. Or have generoius parents or situations. But at a certian point that avenue is goinging to run dry whats goinging to happen? It just really bugs me personally to see it. Never being able to realize your full potential because of lack of funding or proper coaching. Its a shame really.

I was watching some of the clips on the BBC website. If you believe Darren Campbell, they were aiming for the relay gold, even to the cost of their individual races. He actually says as much.

And MLF looked back at the line and saw Mo behind him apparently. Wonder how many inches 0.01 seconds works out as.

I’d much rather that Paula Radcliffe or Steve Backley got medals, and those guys gone home empty handed.

Just an observation about the Canadian junior team that came over for our national championships three weeks ago. Coming all the way across the Atlantic I thought they would make a big impact but they hardly figured - and Scottish athletics is hardly setting the world alight just now. I don’t mean to be unfriendly or anything - come back anytime!

What the hell is the Canadian Junior team getting ready for with a trip to Europe THREE WEEKS AGO?

This was the official line:

"The team was selected based on their performances at the recent Canadian Junior Championships at Saskatoon.

“The Glasgow tour will be an opportunity for some of our junior athletes to gain valuable international experience,” says Canadian tour team coach Frank Reynolds.

“For many of them, this will be their first international meet. We need friendly international competition opportunities like this one to keep our up-and-coming athletes involved and to give them valuable experience that will help immensely in achieving their goals and dreams in the future.”

Man canada never seise to amaze me in its stupidity. And why they didn’t sned Jennifer Joyce to athens is beyond me. She potentially could of endedup like Charles Allen
argh makes me so angry

Well, now we have the official line. Now, what were the results compared to season bests on average, coming so late in the season? How many PBs?
Can anyone postthe results of the Can Jrs and this meet?

Here are the sprint results and hurdles from the CJC…the athletes listed in red were the ones who competed in Glasgow…there times from the Glasgow meet are in green…

The results seem to be incomplete. What about the other two comps? Where are results for Shannon King?

I didn’t see any results for Shannon King. The open meet scheduled for three days before the champs was called off.

nooooooo the link is dead now…doh

That relay was awful, and reflected a lack of training on the part of our sprinters. The fact that we had such poor passes and yet still came close to reeling in the other teams speaks volumes. Hey, nevertheless, kudos to the other teams. They ran better relays.

My friend was at nacac’s and saw the relay practice and he was saying the main guys weren[t taking the relay practice seriously at all and it looked like it was one big joke. He was saying the guys that weren’t going or weren’t goinging to run looked more serious and there passing was way better

makes ya wonder

Which team?

Sorry should of clarified
staying in the theme lol

The canadian team.
Had a relay camp during nacac’s from what my friend there told me.

Any chance this videos would be available again?

but coby miller was a bit slower than marlone donvish dont remembmber his name well so thats why mlf was faster than mo in the first meters cuz if mo went faster we would passed the exchange area if he ran at the same time mlf ran also the finish was too close mo did a good job to come too close(he did his best)

ITS D E V O N I S H, get it right you try do your homework before posting, you chat SOOOO much dribble. It was their change over NOT the speed of execution, what was you watching, the officials? Watch the tape again maybe you are what is termed in education a concrete learner need to get the basics by repetition more than 50 million times?
