will be working with some footballers soon what do you guys think about the following template and ideas are welcome:
Template 1:
mon:
start work 10-20yds
flying sprints 20-30 with 30-40acc zone
med throws
shuttle tech
tue:
gs circuit or
1000m tempo
wed:
start work 10-20yds
runs out to about 65yds
position agility work (catching balls etc not at full speed)
thur:
1000m tempo
fri:
med ball acc
20’s with sled
20’s normal
med throws
shuttle tech
no jumps bc they will be complexed with the squats in weightroom. top speed work is done early in week.
Template 2:

your not planning on running any further than the 60m either this season right??
if thats the case, in the vancourver dvd, i think cf says about not needing to do special endurance, and both of those templats look like none is included. So that looks ok. though, a easy tempo session on sat or sun would help too? or is that game day?

this plan is not for me, i will be working with some football players getting them ready for the 40yd test.
have they done their Gpp?
Perhaps a modified version of that? After all, you know how well it does work!
there fb season would be there gpp. i will only have 6 weeks with them.
