I told my friend last night “game time decision”. The hammy felt good today, I tried to take it easy on the turns. Gonna ems twice and ice three times day.
good idea. hopefully you can race. you never know because meet conditions and such are so much different than workouts.
The past couple weeks my body has been so dry, similar to last year when I injured my hamstring. Even if I run I don’t know what to expect from a result stand point.
I lefted right after prelims so I am still waiting for results to be posted.

I tweaked my hammy Jan 1 and was only able to do one speed session in 2 weeks, for my first meet I was flat and the hammy still wasn’t 100%.

Jan 23: 7.02 and 23.59 (3pt 200). My body felt good but nothing like last week, my right groin has been tight for about two weeks now and today it made me weave all over my lane (kept pulling me to the right). Doing prelims the guy next to me DNP, I was weaving all over the lane, and I misjudge my lean at the finish. Finals I still had the same issues with my groin and it kept pulling me towards the right of my lane and finals started 30mins later then the scheduled time slot.
Overall I feel good with how things are going, I just need to execute my race and things should fall in place.
Tons of stiffness today, the next two days will be recovery.
