Tyson ran 9.69 w+2.0, Jeter 10.64!!!

Wow… unbelievable! I think, Tyson has the chance to go under WR next year… with 2.0 wind… everything is possible…

so what could he have run if his training was not interrupted by this groin? i guess we will find out next year.

i also heard he had a pretty bad start

Gay had a poor reaction time in the race also 0.178…

9.69-0.178

9.63-0.118

I prefer the jeter’s race…amazing…10"64 +1,2–

You heard right-start was not very good at least relative to Powell’s.

Here are the races. Women’s 100 in the 6th video (on the left side) and the men’s 100 in #7.

Saw this on t & fn forum.

just watched the race, his top end looked freakin awesome!
definatley would like to know what his fastest 10m splits are.

Jeter = wow. Upright, powerful and smooth.

Gay’s start didn’t look good but the rest of the race looked great. Hope to see the splits on this.

I wish Powell would run through the line every race, he gave up again when Gay passed around 90m.

9.89 PB for Darvis Patton. He’s quietly been having an incredible year.

I think the sprinting world was like American Indians centuries ago when they could not see ships but the ships were there.

Bolt opened their eyes and basically said - it is possible - see the ships! And voila Gay followed. Patton is running faster and faster, only Asafa is playing prima-donna games easing up as soon as someone passes him…

Nice work!

Yea If asafa would have kept running he would have ran 9.7x

I haven’t seen the vid. At what stage would you say he got caught, and was his slow-down really that bad?

He shut it down around 85m again. Running through would have changed his time slightly but not his finishing position.

I think he’s a beaten man. He might be the best starter in the world but as soon as a trailing competitor gets within a foot of him near the 80m mark, he pretty much gives up.

Asafa will move down to 30m event

How about couldn’t see the forest for the trees, previously everytime a tree stood out in the forest it was cut down.

lol I think he can run a great 60. He should become an indoor specialist.

She was pulling away all the way to the finish line. I’d love to see the splits…anyone?
