I’m not so sure ibuprofen is a great thing to be taking barring an injury. It reduces inflammation, such as the kind found after a workout, and the inflammation that takes place is our body’s reaction to the stimulus and thus subsequent adaptation. Take away the inflammation and you take away some of the adaptation has always been what I’ve read and my thought. Although, if a world class sprinter takes it on a regular basis then perhaps it’s nothing to worry about.
