watchout for him then!
Of the guys at work who trtied it, one got red hammer, as did I. Two others got blue hammer.
What is your guy(s) hypothesis on this little quiz?I wonder if you randomly ask someone to name a color/tool if they would give the same answer? What do you think the numbers have to do with it and does anyone this it is an unreliable variable or is it needed?
I think it as to do with animal instinct. But then I could be wrong and another possible thing that it could mean is that some people are more of inclined to define a color has a bright color first and dull colors like white and black second. The tool selection of the hammer or wrench is probably chosen bc it is these tools are the most commonly used by both male and female. I mean even females that aren’t big fix it types still have to hang up pictures and so the tool they use is a hammer! Also tools are typically defined as hammers, wrenches, and etc… Even though a pencil, mouse, computer, timing gun (a mechanics tool), calculator, wok, frying pan, can be defined as a tool.
very good points. Interesting post. Im thinking something along the lines of that too. But would this have been different without the number equation before it? What is the whole point of that?
Anyone else?
red hammer for me too…weird

WHAT THE! First thing I thought of was a carrot as well…great minds!

APOLOGIES IF YOU’VE SEEN THIS BEFORE. I was thinking whether to post it in the Humour thread, but it’s more about tricks the mind plays. It’s actually a little bit spooky.
Read it quickly from the top. Don’t cheat by going to the end. You’ll spoil it for yourself. kk
this is a quick one… try it!

Holy shit!!! That is FREAKY!!!
Notice that each equation or sentence along with these arrows,
<<<<<<<
<<<<<<< 12+6
<<<<<<<
also resembles the shape of a hammer. So throughout the quiz you see multiple hammer symbols.
Formula:
Orange hammer for me!
Orange!
Maybe the numbers thing is to lull your mind and clear it of all the “noise” and “pictures”, get the slate clean. And trhen it hits you with this totally new idea out of left field so to speak. And then all the stuff about the hammer and the colour pops up because they are both common to the experience of most people.
The connection between the colour and the tool is interesting. I’ve never owned a red hammer, only wooden handle or full metal.
I think it is to clear your mind.
I bet most people when asked say red is their favorite color or the first color that pops into their mind.
Similarly I bet most people when asked to name a tool would automatically respond hammer or wrench.

AND CARROTS??? What kind of tool is this??
Red is one of the colors that stands out when it comes to picking out colors, so that might be part of it.
I answered green screwdriver, screw the majority!
I must be weird i thought of a black lathe. I showed other engineering buddies of mine and they mentionned similar fabrication tools. I guess we are a sick bunch.
I thought of a Blue Wrench.
I thought orange hammer to. That is cool though

I think the arrows are possibly because it was from a forwarded email!
Anyway…blue spanner (after i thought it i couldn’t remember if a spanner was actually a tool but there we are anyway!)
