Week-23 Saturday: CIF Cross Country Championships
Race: Not so good. I started out a bit slower than I should’ve got knocked back into about 100th place (30 places behind where I was supposed to be) and had a very hard time running. Our team got 18th, and that’s a bit frustrating. I’m sadly not dissapointed. I’m satisfied that the XC season is over with and I can begin training for track (after a week off of course :stuck_out_tongue: ) The main goal for me this season was to get an injury free aerobic base built. I’ve got it. On wedsnday I’m going to do an 800m time trial just to see what happens.

3200m: 5:00/10:29

I did a two mile time trial instead of an 800m one, only I brought my 800 spikes to the time trial. shudder my calves are still tight. We went out in 5:00, and I came back with an easy 5:29. I feel I could have gone much faster, had I the right spikes. Three steps after my race I fell over, cramped. My calves had died. Today, Thursday, my calves still feel a bit tight. I’m never making this mistake again Oy Vey!
