I’m surprised about how much BS seminar attendees accept with a smiling face. It seems no one ever challenges the ‘omnipotent presenter’. I remember one I was at where a PV coach was talking about doing explosive stepups onto a bosu ball carrying a heavy water filled sac on the shoulders. Peopled asked questions as if they’re going to now base their program around such exercises. Needless to say this vaulter is currently injured. I wonder why no one seems to throw out a “you’re full of shit buddy!”. I don’t do it because I don’t think I have enough experience but I’d think someone would… Oh then there’s the one presentation about sprint mechanics where they proceeded to rip apart Justin Gatlin as he won by 3m instead extolling the “great technique” of the 4th place finisher:rolleyes:
