Postcard from Melbourne

fairly obvious to anyone who knows anything

Thought I’d post what the commentators had to say about KK’s 400m man, prior to the 400m final last night:

“…ran four 400m’s in 24 hours and still managed to run a 44.6. Truly a class athlete”

And truly a class coach. We are in great company.

:o :o :o

Luca

not KK’s man but you are right we are lucky to have him here to sap the last bit of knowledge that is left in his brain… if you knew the standard’s he has got his quarter milers to you would be even more impressed…

kk & chuck…its time for a 400M EBOOK???
Q & A with KK, program outlines, technical cues…
it would be a hit…

I just can’t sell Charlie on the idea of encouraging 400m training: He’s not really into sado-masochism (… anymore  ) kk

That would a VERY interesting book…

I agree! Bring on the KitKat 400m Training System ebook.

Who’s going to sort out the great lactate thread?
I tried it… but after a few nights i just quit.
But it’s still a great idea.

Wow.I saw the Steffensen race, and I must say he is very technically sound. I didnt see a bit of wasted motion when he ran. What is everyone elses thoughts on him?

Last time I ran a 400 was 1970 at the Coliseum in LA against USC. I ran 47 sec and still have lactic acid to this day!! (It is starting to clear out a bit though)
Seriously, I think it would be terrific if KK would put a 400m training E-book together. There’s a wealth of info on here already and I’m pretty sure he has a bunch of tricks still up his sleeve, waiting only for the right question to bring each piece of a lifetime of experience out (as we saw in the post about SE execution).

He had good coaching before he moved to John Smith and much of his technical form comes from training in OZ and Amsterdam. Apparently he didn’t get too much attention at HSI up until now but I am sure he will be of higher priority after this victory. It must have been good winning in front of a home crowd!

charlie…

i’ll put my hand up for it… we’ll just inform KK later…

be some great chapters in it…
plus a free kit kat to all early bird customers

Nanny

Steve Ovett is the man!!
Those who watched the BBC2 highlights this evening know what I mean…

Beloved PJ & Sprint_Coach, if Either (or Both) Of You Can Possibly Find Time To Squeeze Out Another Postcard From Melbourne It Would Be Great.

SC: We Don’t Even Know How You Feel About Your Man Reaching The Final And Rekindling His Career. Have You Stopped Shaking Yet :stuck_out_tongue:

PJ: We Don’t Even Know . . . If You’re Still Sleeping On That Park Bench Or Whether You’ve Been Eating Cavier And Lobster Since Your Man Won That Big Chunk Of Precious Metal :stuck_out_tongue:

Write us all soon or you’re out of the will

notice that charlie…

not even a bite from him about our ebook remarks he thinks itll go away…

WE NEED THAT 400M EBOOK! My notes are a disorganized mess! And I will never reread a 100 page thread from the begining. Its way to disorganized at this point.

I’ll second the call for a 400m e-book.

THANKYOU Luca,

I GIVE all I know for Free and you want to Pay?

Go run 400s until you come to your senses :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah KK,

I only think that you deserve more recognition for your work.

When will you come to your senses!
