In Italy we have Mario Longo…has run 6"97 at 46!

Speaking of indoor, anybody know who Zeus Bailey is? I watched him run a 6.63 yesterday (6.61/20.8x the week before).

Supposedly he’s only 20 and was a community college champ but I can’t find anything on the internet about him. He’s running for Nike. Pretty tall, maybe 6’2" and still runs a bit raw, lots of potential.

You mean Ryan Bailey? He’s a prep all-star and dominated JUCO last year. I thought he was closer to 6’4", but yeah, loads of talent.

Hmm, maybe that’s why I can’t find anything on him, he must have changed his name or something (all entry and results say Zeus Bailey). That’s him though.

Quite weird to say the least. Great talent, but 6.6s isn’t all that fast to start calling himself Zeus. A friend of mine ran 6.58 yesterday and he has no contract and is quite a bit more humble than that.
