Tech & jumps were very good again. Jumped well into headwinds. Unable to jump the other way as the pit is closed. Sprints were pleasing. Legs were tired at the end. Will look to drop the sprint volumes next week. The contrast showers & massage came in handy too.

Legs were very tired today. Did the session in the afternoon after work. Sessions are usually in the mornings. May explain tiredness, apart from training volumes & intensities.

Plyos were good as usual. However struggled with wts. Looking to drop intensities in gym. The sprints are taking the edge off the wts at the moment. Seeing that its pretty close to the end of the season may even drop cleans & stick with snatches, bench & maybe some ham exercises, but will decide next week. Looking to replace med ball with wts within the next mth. So may do plyo, med ball twds the last few weeks. Probably drop wts 2-3 weeks prior to Nats. Last years taper worked really well, so will see what I did last year.

Plyos were good. Moved the boxes in closer to work more vertically. Contacts were much faster. Pleased with wts as Ive been struggling to lift 85kg in cleans in the last few sessions, but nailed it today. Will decrease wt volumes next week.

A very good sprint session. Wasnt up to jumping as my legs felt heavy. Also had hayfever which took some of the edge off. However sprinted well. Legs were tight so had to ease up with the sprints. Ended up with an equal pb over 40m & as far as I know a pb at 50m. Tried a different contrast shower today. Seemed to work well too.
