I’ve seen different results of this but I think the 600 was yards rather than meters.

I looked up fastest times in 50m and 50mH, Ben at 5.55 and Mark McCoy 6.25 respectively. :cool:

VCB has been using this rolling start sometimes, and you see it sometimes in other races. She starts her body moving forward, but doesn’t push off the blocks until the gun. If the starter waits another second, she’ll fall forward. It won’t trip the sensor, but it does break the “don’t move” rule.

If she tries it in the Olympics Chief Starter Alan Bell warn her.
