Alcohol's performance influence

What are the details of this study? I have found that I run better when I have a small amount of alcohol fairly regularly. I feel it increases parasympathetic activity (yes I’m serious). This seems like a steroid-esque scare tactic to me.

The details of the study appear to be: if you drink 5 schooners of beer, you’ll be shitfaced.
