My mistake.
How about for advanced discussion you have to be at least 30 and actually been a hired paid coach of a sprinter. I think that might be a good idea, then you might actually get some good discussion, granted there maybe only be about 10 people who would be able to discuss then.
i have the 30 down. but the only thing i’ve ever coached is little league baseball…
part of discussion is volume. and if you cut the # of posters discussion moves at a slower rate.
Right, except that you wouldn’t be able to post then (as you do, quite often), among many other members. Why must someone be a paid coach and over 30? How does that solve anything? I could get one of my overweight friends to pay me 2 dollars a month to help him sprint, be 40 years old 350lbs and sit on a couch all day drinking beer. Yet, I’m suddenly allowed to post in advanced? Doesn’t make sense to me…
The rep system works, it’s a good idea. If someone with less reps is contributing a lot of solid material than so be it…if they’re posting stuff that is false and misleading…well then there’s a problem but most people would phish them out very quickly.
I think the issue is noobs polluting our forum with self glorified/senseless nonsense posts.
We don’t want this kinda stuff here.
