Felix Sanchez ran 50.31 for the indoor 400 meters hurdles in Mondeville.

That looked weird as hell as well as dangerous. Has that ever been run before?
Crazy for sure. Theoretically you could have two guys going over the same hurdle after they break from the stagger. And what if they are in single file and the first guy knocks down a hurdle? Does the second guy follow in the same lane over a downed hurdle or have to clear another hurdle in an adjacent lane? I hope no pros ruin their career with this kind of circus stunt.
I share the same questions! Very interested and looks to be a very exciting race.
Yep, very rare though
From what I’m aware of, Llewellyn Herbert still has the world record of 49.90 from 2005, but that was on an oversize track
a lot of events are dangerous : 4x400 relay indoor, hurdles races, pole vault… but the talent of the athletes make them more secure.
Do you think that Félix Sanchez is crazy in the point to take mindless risks?
Félix Sanchez covered the distance in 49.73 seconds at Val de Reuil on february 6
