What to take?

ok… i been lookin at this site for a lil bit, so…

should i take ZMA, creatine, a multi, and some protein?

I already take quit a bit of vitamins like lecithin, my B’s, ginko biloba, fish oil, flax seed oil, and some other things…

lol, yeppers i take about 9 vitamins a day…

so what kinda sups should i be taking? Im lookin for stuff that will speed up my recovery from workouts like sprinting and overtraining. Other stuff, things thats will help me maintain my endurance when i feel like im gettin tired.

thanks

below is an email I sent about and hour ago to the shop I go to.

You may recall I was in there last Thursday and after considerable discussion purchased some glutamine.

I am in no way a regular supplement user unless you count multivitamins, protein powder and fish oil tablets which I don’t. I started taking the glutamine that afternoon in a shake and have taken 1teaspoon per day since, usually as part of my fruit smoothie breakfast. To say I am pleasantly surprised at the impact it has had on my recovery is an understatement. Frankly I am amazed at the improvement and almost immediate effect. Thank you for your help, I anticipate glutamine supplementation will become a regular part of my diet.

So what your sayin is i should be takin glutamine, on top of my other vitamins…

but what about the creatine and ZMA stuff, is that stuff needed and would it help me?

My personal responses are that glutamine has helped and creatine always makes me feel bloated and like crap :frowning: That saidf i know of some who swear by it.

I haven’t tried ZMA but have read that otehrs have had good results.

I suggest to my athletes with this supplementation plan

breafast - protein shake with glutamine

Lunch Mulit Vitavin (B12)

Post workout - Chocolate Milk

Bed Time - ZMA - on empty stomach
