Montgomery set for Glasgow
World 100metres record-holder Tim Montgomery will make his first 2003 appearance in Britain at the Norwich Union International in Glasgow this month. The American will run for his nation on June 29 in the match against Great Britain and Russia as part of his build-up for the World Championships in Paris in August. Montgomery, who set a new world record of 9.78seconds in Paris last year, is set to compete against Britain’s Dwain Chambers and Mark Lewis-Francis.
