I’m starting my indoor season (which begins in december in Belgium) in september.
I’m thinking about taking several supplements to enhance my strenght.
First of all I am going to take Whey Proteins.
Also thinking about taking:
Betamax (http://www.planet-health.co.uk/Search/All_Products.asp scroll to creatine transport and click betamax)
Doers someone have an idea how to combine these supplmenets in a proper way?
i’d drop the creatine since you are a sprinter. you can take your whey & amino acids post workout. you can also take some amino acids during your workouts. take the ZMA every night before you go to bed. maybe look into replacing the creatine with some glutamine.
Well said ESPN…
As far as dosage goes 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight.
For Glutamine 10-20 grams a day.
Your other Aminos acids that are important are you BCAA’S (Branched Chain Amino Acids) those you usually find enough in your protein shake. Just make sure you check before you buy a protein powder.
I am also against Creatine for sprinters but if you were to take it id say under 5 grams day and would only take it early in the year. And i definatly wouldnt waste my money on an expensive transport system The plain old pure creatine powder is fine as long as you mix it with a high glycemic juice such as grape juice or gatorade.
