how long can you maintain strength levels for during the season. Is there a stage where you will start dropping and losing strength??

I have been in strength maintainance since jan and you could probably count late dec because i was in my power blk+strength maintainance, i have done a great job keeping my strength. I know CF say 7-8 weeks then the lost of strength begin to hurt the athlete - “the loss of strength outweighing the increased freshness that the taper will permit.”

In your strength maintainence ohase, how do your lifts change in terms of exercises, sets and rep range? I am often unsure of this. I know Malcolm’s group tend to lift at 75% for 3x6 on the fundemental exercises, and I think they do this once a week.
I tend to have two strength training sessions, ol twice a week, squat once a week, press twice a week, pull twice a week. the % for the squat is around 75% and the pc 80-90%. For example:
Mon:
pc 4x2x80
bs 2x2x75
bp 3x2x90
rows 3x6
Wed:
pc 4x1x90
bp 3x2
chinups 3x6
