Semi Finals Seeds (OH YES THEY ARE IN THE SAME HEAT!)

Just how fast were you running Bolt. Can someone at the olympics ask him for me? Tell him “a guy” wants to know.

I’ll admitt at this point im confused. I saw Gay’s second round and he didnt look AS BAD as everyone was saying either. I still say he will be in the 9.8-9.9 range.

I’m an idiot. I misread the schedule. I take back everything I’ve ever said since I’m too stupid to read.

Well, I was just funnin’ you.

Told you so! Dammmnnn that felt good. Bolt’s got it.

why so late? How do you cope as an elite athlete if you are a morning person?

im sure bolt doesnt mind the late night races

considering his record came at 11 30 pm

Asafa just got out of the toilet

I told you.

This is not a joke. He just did. Out at the warm up track

Better before than during!

Better before than during!

  Wise words!

is the olympic track in Beijing a very a fast track? How would it compare to the one in Atlanta in '96 or the one in NY where Bolt set the record?

Didnt Gay in the Worlds run real slow early in the rounds, and slowly get faster and faster

same with the american champs??

people remember when frankie fredricks ran a 9.92 with only a fast 1st 40-50m and jogged home in the semi, then in the final struggled to run 9.86 or such in the final pushing it the whole way, only to come 2nd after looking sooo good in the semi compared to everybody else… (his 9.92 looked like WR material)

the oly games is not about looking the best in the heats, its about getting to the next round, with gas left, and leaving your CNS in tact and producing a supreme effort in the final.

Gays legs are getting their tone set during the rounds.
If Usains Tone is set wrong, and come the final his legs are wrapped up in knotts or stiff as???

Mind you, i believe, if usain wins, it will possably be sub 9.7?

Bolt 9.85
Dix
Burns
Frater

so sorry for tyson…

Powell 9.91
Martina
Thompson
Patton

Bolt’s 9.85 looked so ridiculously comfortable. 9.6x in the final…

asafa looked very confident, clean race; it’s gonna be a close one (hope so :stuck_out_tongue: )

Medals;

  1. Bolt
  2. Powell
  3. Dix or Thompson

Better that he goes out now than in the finals. Saves us Americans some stress for later. That being said I hope Asafa puts one down however I think Bolt is going to blow him up.
