Sachin Tendulkar scales 14k Everest in Test

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar achieved another milestone on Sunday.

The Indian batting maestro took his world record to 14, 000 level in the second Test against Australia at M ChinnaSwamy stadium.

Tendulkar completed his 14, 000 Test run when he scored 27 runs with a boundary.

In 171 Test match, Tendulkar has scored 14,000 run with an average of 56.21 runs. Tendulkar has also maximum number of Test hundred. He is just two century short to complete fifty of Test hundreds. Tendulkar has scored 57 Test fifty.

Skipper Ricky Ponting congratulated Sachin Tendulkar on this achievement. Ponting is the only batsman, who is chasing master blaster’s record. Ponting has 12,189 runs in the Test cricket.

The master blaster is also highest run getter in One Day International. He has scored 17598 runs in 442 ODIs with an average of 45.12. He has also maximum number of ODI hundred. Tendulkar has 46 ODI hundred and 93 fifty.

He made his Test Debut in November 15, 1989 against Pakistan in Karachi.

Recently, Sachin was also adjudged ICC cricketer of the year 2010.
